Backend Developer

  • Building scalable backend services for an energy management system (EMS).

  • Development of REST/GraphQL API, data pipelines, and integrations with SCADA systems.

  • Design and testing of database and container solutions for real-world deployment in the energy sector.

What do we expect?

Technology: Python or JavaScript, SQL, and scripting in Linux shell.
API and integration: Experience with REST and GraphQL.
Testing and DevOps: working with Docker, UnitTest, or PyTest.
Personality traits: Independence, reliability, teamwork, and a sense of humor.
Language: English at a working level.

What is an advantage?

Experience with Node.js, TimescaleDB/Postgres, RabbitMQ, OPC-UA, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Azure, Grafana, ML, or knowledge of the energy sector.

What will you do?

  • Developing software that influences the real world – controlling battery storage and deciding on energy flows.
  • Address complex challenges in the fields of energy, data analysis, and automation.
  • Work with a modern stack and influence architecture and development direction.
  • Automate data transfers and scripting in a Linux environment.
  • Build API layers for frontend or other systems.
  • Containerize applications and cover them with tests.
  • Participate in the development of key functionalities in the areas of measurement, prediction, and control.
